UPDATE: Readers have asked how to wear these boots. They can of course work with straight-legged pants & jeans, but I think they would be best with slim or skinny pants/jeans, and definitely with skirts and dresses. Try with opaque black tights, or even with bare legs. This will modernize a more traditional dress, add some street style to a girly flowery dress, and add some interest to a simple style. Really these boots are perfect and Clergerie has a timeless appeal.

but what do you wear ankle boots with? I have purchased them at least twice (ankle "boooties, I mean) and end up wearing them with pants. Maybe a polyvore would help?
